Suffolk - Multiple Traffic Notices, Temporary Road Closures due to Works

What is happening?

SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C206 MELLS ROAD, WALPOLE

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C206 Mells Road, Walpole from the junction with the B1117 for 200 metres eastbound to facilitate works being carried out by Anglian Water. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Grange Road, the A144, the B1117 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/08/2025 - 15/08/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 1, FORNHAM ALL SAINTS

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing Footpath 1, Fornham All Saints from the weir under the A1106 to 155 metres northeast to facilitate safety during a fence repair near the weir. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

There is no alternative/diversion route.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 22/08/2025 - 12/09/2025 but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 6 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C528 CRANLEY ROAD, EYE AND REDLINGFIELD

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the:

• C528 Cranley Road, Eye from the B1077 to Cranley Road, Redlingfield

• C528 Cranley Road, Redlingfield

This is to facilitate surface dressing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Mill Road, Church Road, Southolt Road, Park Road, Redlingfield, Park Road, Southolt, Park Road, Church Road the road from the C533 to the C531, Three Schools Lane, B1077 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 13/08/2025 - 14/08/2025 from 10am - 3pm with a 1 day road closure to be used for associated works. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U6710 EASTERN AVENUE, HAVERHILL

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U6710 Eastern Avenue, Haverhill from Withersfield Road to Ash Grove to facilitate gas mains replacements. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Burton End, Crowland Road, the A1307 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 22/08/2025 from 8am - 6pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U8801 MEADOW LANE, SUDBURY

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U8801 Meadow Lane, Sudbury from Hyde Road to Station Road to facilitate ducting works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Hyde Road, Egworth Road, Station Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate on 12/08/2025from 8am - 6pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
