What is happening?
THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.
VARIOUS ROADS, MELTON DISTRICT
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
It is expected that the Order will come into force on 08/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake surface repair works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

Blacksmith End, Stathern & North St, Melton Mowbray for their entire lengths. Hickling Rd, Nether Broughton from the Church End Jct up to the County border. Klondyke Ln from the B6047 Jct up to the Bakers Ln Jct, Bakers Ln from the Klondyke Ln boundary up to Salters Hill Dr – Thorpe Satchville.
CASTLE VIEW ROAD, EASTHORPE
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
It is expected that the Order will come into force on 08/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of
10 days. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days to allow National Grid to undertake a utility installation. The proposed diversion route will be via: Castle View Rd, A52, Belvoir Rd, Market St, Grantham Rd, Easthorpe Rd, Manor Rd, Bottesford & vice versa.

The alternative diversion routes will be signed on site.

1 week. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow BT Openreach to carry out telecoms pole testing. The proposed diversion route will be via: Stapleford Rd, Wyfordby Ln, Stapleford; Main Rd, Wyfordby; Main Rd, Brentingby; B676 & vice versa.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Network Rail to undertake level crossing maintenance. The proposed diversion route will be via: Station Ln, Main Rd, Leicester Rd, Kirby Bellars; Leicester Rd A607, Wilton Rd A607, Asfordby Rd, Melton Mowbray; A6006, Main Rd, Main St, Asfordby; Station Ln, Kirby Bellars & vice versa.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake carriageway repair works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Waltham Rd, Eastwell; Waltham Ln, Stathern Ln, Harby; Harby Rd, Harby Long Ln, Stathern; Long Ln, Redmile; Belvoir Rd, Bottesford; A52 from Bottesford to Bingham, A46, A606 via Upper/Nether Broughton; Clawson Rd, Ab Kettleby; Clawson Ln, Eastwell Rd, Scalford Rd, Eastwell & vice versa.
