ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE
HOEBRIDGE ROAD EAST,
GATTONSIDE, MELROSE
In accordance with Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Scottish Borders Council will temporarily close Hoebridge Road East, Gattonside, Melrose TD6 9LZ (just outside Stables Cottage) The maximum duration of this Notice is 21 days and it is expected that the closure will be in effect from 08:00 on Thursday 7 August 2025 to 17:00 on Friday 15 August 2025 - 24 hour closure.
The closure is required to permit Emergency Scottish Water Works.
The alternative route for northbound traffic is via
Hoebridge Road East, Bakers Road, B6360 Main Street, Hoebridge Road East to point of closure for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing.
