What is happening?

STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(LICHFIELD) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER NO 1/2009 (AMENDMENT) NO. X/20XX

Staffordshire County Council propose to make a Traffic Regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce the following restrictions on the roads specified in Lichfield:

–   No Stopping on School Keep Clear Markings, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm on Baker Way, Lichfield;

–   No Waiting Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am and 9:30am and 2:30pm and 4pm, on Baker Way, Lichfield;

–   No Waiting at Any Time on Baker Way, Axten Avenue and Turner Road, Lichfield.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council on 12/8/25 made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Brookhay Ln, Hilliards Cross. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144583388. The Order will come into operation on 18/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 22/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the re-sleeper works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Netherstowe Ln, Lichfield. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144042337. The Order will come into operation on 15/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Shute Hill, Chorley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143774229. The Order will come into operation on 15/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the tree trimming works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier. Colton Rd, Rugeley Trent Valley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143753551. The Order will come into operation on 15/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 16/8/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the vegetation removal and brick works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Cartersfield Ln, Stonnall. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=143360256. The Order will come into operation on 18/8/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 22/8/25 The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new service connection works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Notice is hereby given that Staffordshire County Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along:

Lions Den, Hammerwich. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144529178. The Order will come into operation on 1/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 5/9/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the gas service alteration works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Main Rd, Rugeley. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144177126. The Order will come into operation on 1/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 5/9/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the new service connection, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Hood Ln, Longdon. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144123398. The Order will come into operation on 1/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed by 2/9/25. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the blockage clearance works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

Horsey Ln, Upper Longdon. For more information regarding access arrangements, timings and diversion routes please visit https://one.network/?tm=144043693. The Order will come into operation on 1/9/25 and the said works will commence on or as near as practicable to that date. It is anticipated the works will be completed on the same day. The Order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the pole replacement works, which it is proposed to carry out on or near the road have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
