(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Fairways from its junction with A631 Bawtry Road to the Tanyard access road on Sunday 17th. August 2025.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via St. Albans Way, Tanfield Way and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Blue Mans Way between no.30 and no.34 Blue Mans Way from Monday 18th August until Friday 22nd August 2025 between 8am and 6pm each day.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route, the road is a cul de sac. Access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Works to telecommunications apparatus).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Mill Close from Tuesday  26th August until Thursday 28th August 2025 between 8am and 5pm each day.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order, the road is a cul de sac. Access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Installation of telecommunication apparatus).

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along A633 Rotherham Road from carrying out the turning manoeuvres specified in the Schedule to this notice from Tuesday 19th August until Friday 29th August 2025. The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (To facilitate traffic management arrangements on A633 Rotherham Road, Parkgate).

SCHEDULE

(i)    To prohibit any vehicle travelling north on A633 Rotherham Road from turning east onto Stonerow Way (the alternative route will be via A633 Rotherham Road in a northerly direction, “U” turn at A633 Rotherham Road Roundabout, A633 Rotherham Road in a southerly direction and Stonerow Way).

(ii)   To prohibit any vehicle travelling south on A633 Rotherham Road from turning west onto Forge Way (the alternative route will be via A633 Rotherham Road in a southerly direction, “U” turn at A633 Grafton Bridge Roundabout, A633 Rotherham Road in a northerly direction and Forge Way).

(iii)   To prohibit any vehicle travelling along Forge Way from turning south onto A633 Rotherham Road (the alternative route will be via A633 Rotherham Road in a northerly direction, “U” turn at A633 Rotherham Road Roundabout, A633 Rotherham Road in a southerly direction and Stonerow Way).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice from Saturday 16th August until Tuesday 26th August 2025.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Works to electrical apparatus).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Church Street from its junction with B6089 Main Street for a distance of approximately 10m in a westerly direction (the alternative route will be via

ROTHERHAM METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL

B6089 Main Street, Coach Road, Fenton Road, Roughwood Road, Grayson Road and vice versa).

(ii)   Harold Croft from its junction with B6089 Main Street for a distance of approximately 10m in a easterly direction (the alternative route will be via B6089 Main Street, Rossiter Road, Harold Croft and vice versa).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Ulley Lane, Aston; Aughton Lane, Aston Lane, Main Street, Aughton, Ulley Lane, Ulley: Main Street, Ulley and vice versa.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Main Street, Rotherham Road, High Street and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Gas works).

(TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME RESTRICTIONS)

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to temporarily suspend part of Schedule 1 of the Rotherham Borough Council (Various Roads, Rotherham) (Traffic Regulations Consolidation) Order 2011 and to suspend the no waiting at any time restrictions upon both sides of Corporation Street (east and west) between its junction with Market Street and its junction with Upper Millgate from Monday 18th August 2025 until Friday  24th July 2026.

The reason for the temporary suspension is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Resurfacing of carriageways  and footways).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the four parts of road specified in the Schedule to this notice. The part of Walesmoor Avenue specified in item (i) of the Schedule will be closed from Tuesday 26th August until Friday 19th. September 2025. The part of Walesmoor Avenue specified in item (ii) of the Schedule will be closed from Monday 20th October until Friday 14th November 2025. The part of Lestermoor Avenue will be closed from Monday 22nd September until Friday  17th October 2025. The part of Limetree Avenue will be closed from Monday  20th October until Friday 14th November 2025.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative routes will be via local neighbouring streets.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (water main renewal upon Wales Road).

SCHEDULE

(i)    Walesmoor Avenue from its most westerly junction with Wales Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a southerly direction.

(ii)   Walesmoor Avenue from its most easterly junction with Wales Road for a

distance of approximately 25m in a southerly direction.

(iii)   Lestermoor Avenue from its junction with Wales Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a southerly direction.

(iv)   Limetree Avenue from its junction with Wales Road for a distance of approximately 25m in a notherly direction.

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be from Monday 25th August until Friday 29th August 2025 between 7pm and 6am each day to:-

1.    Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Laughton Road from its junction with Church Lane to its junction with Barleycroft Lane (the alternative route will be via New Road, Lidgett Lane and New Street).

2.    Suspend the One Way Order relating to Barleycroft Lane allowing two-way traffic between its junction with Lidgett Lane and its junction with Laughton Road.

The reason for the prohibition and suspension is because works are being or  are proposed to be executed on or near the parts of road (Installation of  new sewer).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles proceeding along that part of Lea Brook Lane from a point approximately 120m south of its junction with Coaley Lane for a distance of approximately 80m in a southerly direction from Tuesday 26th August until Monday 1st September 2025.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order will be via Coaley Lane, Cortworth Lane, Angel Lane, Hoober Field Road and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Repairs to water apparatus).
