ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14
 (KETTERING ROAD & BRIDGE STREET, THRAPSTON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit traffic from proceeding along those lengths of Kettering Road and Bridge Street, Thrapston as set out below.
LENGTHS OF ROADS TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: Those lengths of Kettering Road and Bridge Street, Thrapston from the junction of Nine Arches Way to the junction of Chapel Hill.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during traffic light refurbishment works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 1st September 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the roads will be restricted for up to 12 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Kettering Road, A14 and Huntingdon Road.

(CENTRAL AVENUE, KETTERING)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Central Avenue, Kettering as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Central Avenue, Kettering from the A4300 roundabout to Washington Square.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 16th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
EXPECTED DURATION: It is expected that the road will be restricted for up to 2 days.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: use Stamford Road, Naseby Road and Edgar Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Hampden Crescent, Kettering as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Hampden Crescent, Kettering – whole length (2 sections).
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 16th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Edinburgh Road, Kettering as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Edinburgh Road, Kettering from Stamford Road to Cromwell Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 16th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Mansefield Close, Desborough as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Mansefield Close, Desborough – adjacent to No.2.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during the disconnection of gas pipes.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Stamford Road, Kettering as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Stamford Road, Kettering – between Edmund Street and Avondale Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Windmill Avenue, Kettering as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Windmill Avenue, Kettering – between A4300 Stamford Road roundabout to Acre Street.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during carriageway resurfacing.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Pratt Road, Rushden as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Pratt Road, Rushden from the junction with Newton Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during HV cable works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pipe repair works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 18th August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during pipe repair works.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit traffic from proceeding along that length of Wilby Road, Mears Ashby as set out below.
LENGTH OF ROAD TO WHICH RESTRICTION APPLIES: That length of Wilby Road, Mears Ashby from structure crossing watercourse on Wilby Road.
REASON FOR RESTRICTION: The restriction is required for safety during investigation works.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: The proposed Order will come into effect on 22nd August 2025 and will continue in force for a period of eighteen months. An application may be made for the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport for the Order to be extended if this proves necessary. However, the restriction specified will have effect only at such times and to such an extent as is indicated by the display of signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
