What is happening?

KIRKLEES COUNCIL

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -

SECTION 14

(WOOD LANE, MIRFIELD)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Wood Lane, Mirfield  from its junction with Helem Lane to a point approximately near Waterside Walk PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Helm Lane, Paul Lane, Bog Green Lane, Colne Bridge Road, Cooper Bridge Road, Leeds Road, Huddersfield Road, Wood Lane and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday

18 August 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 27 August 2025 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(STAINCLIFFE HALL ROAD, DEIGHTON LANE,

HEALEY, BATLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION

OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Staincliffe Hall Road, Deighton Lane, Healey, Batley from its junction with Halifax Road to its junction with West Park Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Healey Lane, West Park Road, Common Road, Halifax Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Friday 22 August 2025 08:00 and remain in force until 27 August 2025 18:00 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(VALLEY ROAD, MILLBRIDGE, LIVERSEDGE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Valley Road, Millbridge, point closure at its junction with Bradford Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Valley Road, Halifax Road, Knowler Hill, Bradford Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday

1 September 2025 and remain in force until 26 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

(LOWOOD LANE, BATLEY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN  that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Lowood Lane, Batley from its junction with Field Head Lane to its junction with Dark Lane PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Field Head Lane, Middlegate, High Street, Nelson Street, Gelderd Road, Dark Lane and vice versa. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday 1 September 2025 and remain in force until 7 September 2025 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
