Buckinghamshire, Multiple Temporary Road & Footpath Closures, Due To Various Works
What is happening?
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL
The Council Intends To Make -(Park Rd, Stoke Poges) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025
which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Park Rd for approx. 1770m.
Alternative route: Park Rd, Farnham Rd, Church Rd, Cumberland Ave, Northern Rd, Stoke Poges Ln, Church Ln and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Cadent Gas mains renewals commence on 25th Augst 2025. The proposed Order will come into operation on 25th August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Smalldean Lane, Saunderton) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Smalldean Ln for approx 332m.
Alternative route: Smalldean Ln, Wycombe Rd, Bradenham Wood Ln, New Rd, and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Cityfibre cabling works commence on 15th August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Dolesden Ln, Turville Heath) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Dolesden Ln for approx. 2208m.
Alternative route: Dolesden Ln, Balhams Ln, Northend Rd, Turville Heath, Holloway Ln, Turville Valley Rd and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst Cityfibre cabling works commence on 18th August 2025, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Maxwell Rd, Beaconsfield) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2025 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Maxwell Rd, for approx. 980m.
Alternative route: Amersham Rd, Candlemas Ln, Station Rd and vice versa.
The closure is required whilst footway resurfacing works commence on 18th August 2025 as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE - (Public Footpath No. 9/1, Parish of Aylesbury) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2025 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of the Public Footpath commencing at the junction of AYL FP 9/1 and Thame Road continuing south east for approx. 10m.
There is no alternative route.
The closure is required to enable safe access for the installation of two new poles.The Order will come into operation on 18th August 2025 as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.
