What is happening?
North Yorkshire Council, Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians,
Public Footpath 35.5/5/1 Parish of Barlby With Osgodby, Order 2025
No 35 Notice is hereby given that the above Order, the effect of which is
to prohibit any public access along Public Footpath 35.5/5/1 in the Parish
of Barlby with Osgodby between grid reference SE63933355 &
SE63983370 due to building works has been continued in force for a
further 6 months until 23/02/26 or until the completion of the works
(whichever is the earlier), under Section 15(3) of the above Act with the
approval of the Secretary of State for Transport. The further continuation
of the closure will be put into effect by notices & signs. All enquiries to:

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Harmby to Cow Close Road -
Harmby, Order 2025, No. 61 We have extended this Order to continue in
force until 19/02/27 which is to prohibit any vehicle from using an
approximate 200 metres length of the Harmby to Cow Close Road
(adjacent to 'Lower Wensleydale Caravan Park') due to unstable road
conditions. The closure period will only apply as indicated by the placing
of traffic signs & a local alternative route will also be signed on site where
appropriate. If works are completed prior to 19/02/27 this Order will be

Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, Amendment
No Tbc, Order Notice is hereby given that The North Yorkshire Council
proposes to make an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) &
35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to
the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of
which will be to amend “North Yorkshire County Council (Prohibition of
Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking) (District of Selby) Consolidation
Order 2013” by introducing the restrictions specified in the table below:-

Selby, Flaxley Road, Southern side of road from end of existing waiting
restriction for 10m east. A copy of the draft Order, together with a map
showing the roads affected & a statement of the Council's reasons for
proposing to make the Order may be inspected at County Hall,
Northallerton & at Selby Library, 52 Micklegate, Selby YO8 4EQ during
normal office hours from 14/08/25 to 04/09/25 & also viewed online at
www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map or
