ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C172 GREENSIDE BANK TO HARBOTTLE THROPTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C172 Greenside Bank To Harbottle from its junction with U4020 Sharperton Village, Sharperton heading in a eastwards direction for a distance of 694 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 2nd September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via C172, C180, B6341 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U3136 ST LAWRENCE AVENUE AMBLE
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intend to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U3136 St Lawrence Avenue Amble from its junction with Kennedy Road heading in a northerly direction for a length of 20 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 8th September 2025 until the 26th September 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 8th September 2025 until the 19th September 2025 and that it will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 26th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being St Lawrence Avenue, Leslie Drive, Ivy Street and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

B6341 BILSMOOR TO THROPTON SHARPERTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County
Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the B6341 Bilsmoor to Thropton Sharperton from its junction with C195 District Boundary to Rugley Walls Junction heading in a south westwards direction for a distance of 1426 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 2nd September 2025 until the 5th September 2025
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 2nd September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 to 15:30 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via B6341, A696, C195, B6342 and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C146 HIGH HOUSE ROAD MORPETH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C146 High House Road from its point at the entrance to Craik Park heading north for a distance of 200 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 22nd August 2025 until the 25th August 2025.
It is expected that the road will be closed at all times from 12:00 on the 22nd August 2025 until 12:00 on the 25th August 2025 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 25th August 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being the B6542, B1337, U6109 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C195 RIDSDALE JUNCTION TO DISTRICT BOUNDARY KIRKWHELPINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the C195 Ridsdale Junction To District Boundary from its junction with A696 Saugh House To Knowesgate, Belsay heading in a south westward direction for a distance of 1320 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 18th August 2025 until the 10th November 2025.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 18th August 2025 until the 22nd August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 & 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 10th November 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via A696, B6342, A68, C195 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U9050 SMITHY COTTAGES TO COLDCOATES JUNCTION BELSAY (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland: U9050 Milbourne To South East Farm Junction from its junction with U9051 Milbourne Junction To Milbourne Hall for a distance of 389 metres in a northeasterly then southeasterly direction. U9051 Milbourne Junction To Milbourne Hall from its junction with C346 Robsheugh Farm Junction To East Grange Junction for a distance of 1100 metres in a southerly then southwesterly direction.
U9051 Milbourne Hall Junction To East Farm Junction from its junction with U9051 Milbourne Junction To Milbourne Hall for a distance of 664 metres in a northeasterly direction.
U9050 Smithy Cottages To Coldcoates Junction from its junction with U9051 Milbourne Hall Junction To East Farm Junction for a distance of 115 metres in a southeasterly direction. The Order is to be effective from the 18th August 2025 until the 14th November 2025.
It is expected that work will be done in sections and only one section of road will be closed at any one time however, the order will remain in place until the 14th November 2025.
It is expected that the U9050 Milbourne To South East Farm Junction will be closed at all times from the 18th August 2025 until the 1st September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being C346, A696, U9050, U9051 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
It is expected that the U9051 Milbourne Junction To Milbourne Hall will be closed at all times from the 28th August 2025 until the 26th September 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being U9050, U9051 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly. It is expected that the U9051 Milbourne Hall Junction To East Farm Junction will be closed at all times from the 24th September 2025 until the 17th October 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being U9051, C346, A696, U9050 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
It is expected that the U9050 Smithy Cottages To Coldcoates Junction will be closed at all times from the 13th October 2025 until the 31st October 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being U9051, C346, A696, U9050 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
C148 ST. LEONARDS LANE MITFORD (TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the speed by vehicular traffic from 60 mph down to 30 mph on that section of the C148 St Leonards Lane Mitford from its junction with the B6343 Mitford Village for a distance of 1180 metres to its junction with the A197 St.Leonards Lane to A1 Junction in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 18th August 2025 until the 29th April 2026.
It is expected that the speed restriction will be in force from the 18th August 2025 until the 1st April 2026 and that the road will be restricted at all times during this period. The Order however will remain in place until the 29th April 2026.

The speed restriction has been requested by Northumberland County Council due to the likelihood of danger to the public as the road is narrow and heavier than normal traffic flow is expected. CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2024 VARIATION ORDER 25 (TRO_101_25)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, has made the above-named Order.
The effect of the Order, which will come into force on the 18th August 2025 will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by introducing ‘no waiting at any time’ parking restrictions on a section of Whorral Bank and the Access Road to the Morpeth Household Waste Recovery Centre in Morpeth. The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order.
