GORCHYMYN CENFFORDD YR A4042 (CYLCHFAN CWMBRÂN I GYLCHFAN PONT-Y-PWL, TORFAEN) (GWAHARDD CERBYDAU) DROS DRO) 2025

MAE GWElNIDOGION CYMRU wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Mae angen y Gorchymyn er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A4042, neu gerllaw iddi, rhwng Cylchfan Cwmbrân a Chylchfan Pont-y-pwl Torfaen.

Effaith y Gorchymyn yw gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd rhag mynd ar y darn o’r gefnffordd sy’n ymestyn o’i chyffordd â’r ochr ogleddol Cylchfan Cwmbrân hyd at ei chyffordd ag ochr ddeheuol Cylchfan Pont-y-pwl. Ni fydd y gefnffordd tua’r gogledd a’r gefnffordd tua’r de ar gau ar yr un pryd.

Y llwybr arall ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd yw mynd ar yr A4042 tua’r de, yr A48 Ffordd Dosbarthu Deheuol Casnewydd tua’r gogledd-ddwyrain i Gyfnewidfa Coldra, yr A449 tua’r gogledd i Gyfnewidfa Rhaglan, yr A40 tua’r gogledd-orllewin i Hardwick Roundabout, y Fenni ar A4042 tua’r de: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r de.

Dylai cerbydau’r gwasanaethau brys sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd ddilyn Heol Casnewydd tua’r dwyrain ac yna tua’r gogledd tuag at New Inn, The Highway tua’r gogledd, Ffordd Brynbuga a Rockhill Road tua’r gorllewin a’r A472 tua’r de-ddwyrain i ailymuno â’r A4042 wrth Gylchfan Pont-y-pwl: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r de.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 11 Awst 2025. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiad dros dro yn weithredol rhwng oriau (20:00 – 06:00 or gloch) rhwng 11 a 17 Awst 2025, nes bod y perygl i’r ardal sy’n destun traffig dros dro eu symud yn barhaol.

Dim ond yn ystod y cyfnod a bennir uchod y disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn fod yn weithredol. Er hynny, bydd yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o 18 mis ar y mwyaf rhag ofn y bydd angen ailamserlennu’r gwaith neu wneud gwaith canlyniadol neu waith arall. Bydd hysbysiad am unrhyw newidiadau i’r amseroedd a’r dyddiadau yn cael ei arddangos cyn gwneud unrhyw waith a ailamserlennir.

Gellir gweld copi o’r Gorchymyn ar yr Hysbysiad ar wefan Llywodraeth Cymru yn https://llyw.cymru/orchmynion-traffig-ffyrdd
