TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highways (Yorkshire & Humber.) (No.17) Order 2025” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped northern and southern part width of Ingwell Street, two southern part widths of unnamed highway as leads off Ingwell Street and an irregular shaped northern part width of Brunswick Street at its junction with the unnamed highway as lies off Ingwell Street at Wakefield in the Metropolitan Borough of Wakefield. This is to enable development as permitted by Wakefield Council, under reference 23/00422/FUL.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon
Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/5972). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Wakefield One, Burton Street, Wakefield, WF1 2EB.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 14 August 2025.
