Compton Road - Temporary Road Closure To Sewer Repairs

Temporary Closure of Compton Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Compton Road - from 42 metres east of the junction with Chapel Road, eastwards for a total distance of 88 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out sewer repairs.
The Order becomes effective on 28th August 2024 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 1st September 2025 and last until 5th September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
