Romford, Amendments To Parking, Disabled Bays, and Waiting Restrictions

What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HAVERING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Havering proposes to make amendments to the following Orders as follows under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended -
The London Borough Of Havering - (Waiting, Loading And Stopping Restrictions) (Map Based) (Amendment No.*) Order 202*
The London Borough Of Havering - (Parking Places) (Map Based) (Amendment No.*) Order 202* PTO 1253
(a) Introduce a disabled persons parking bay on;
i) Upper Rainham Road, outside no. 345.
ii) Griffin Avenue, in the layby opposite no. 23.
iii) Waycross Road, outside no.12.
iv) Melksham Green, at the southern extremity.
v) Broseley Road, outside no. 57 and 59.
vi) Broseley Gardens, outside no.16.
vii) Marlborough Road, outside no. 39.
viii) Ongar Way, outside no. 2, Courtyard Mews.
ix) Chelmsford Avenue, outside nos. 23 and 25.
x) Dartfields, to the side of no. 18.
xi) Kinfauns Avenue, outside no. 24.
xii) Macon Way, outside flats nos. 112 to 122.
xiii) Lynton Avenue, outside no. 116.
xiv) Kingsbridge Road, outside no. 63.
(b) Change the existing disabled persons parking bay to a dedicated disabled persons parking bay on;
i) Hillside Road, outside no. 129.
ii) Amersham Walk, to the centre of the turning head.
iii) The Mews, outside Adams Yard.
iv) Cambourne Avenue, outside no. 45.
(c) Remove a section of residents parking bay and introduce a dedicated disabled persons parking bay on Durham Avenue, outside Elizabeth House.
(d) Remove a disabled persons parking bay on Browne Close, outside no.11.
(e) Extend the disabled persons parking bay outside no. 12 Firham Park Avenue, by 1.5 metres, at its northern end.
(f) Relocate the existing disabled persons parking bay outside no. 84 Barnstaple Road and make it a dedicated disabled persons parking bay.
(g) Introduce no waiting at any time restrictions on;
i) The junction of Dartfields and Dunstable Road, extending to the front of no. 37 Dunstable Road.
ii) Haydock Close, either end of the layby opposite Epsom Way.
iii) The junction of Miramar Way and Chevington Way, the whole of the southern side of Miramer Way and to the side of no. 118 Suttons Lane.
iv) Crow Lane, outside nos. 1 to 17 Dove House, outside no. 208 and 208A and outside the site located between nos. 198 and 208.
v) Maybank Avenue at its junctions with Rosebank Avenue, Elms Farm Road, Laburnham Avenue, South End Road, Lancaster Drive, extending on its southern side to the vehicular access to Carrie's Hall, outside Carrie’s Hall and either side of the rear access road to the odd number side of Rosebank Avenue.
vi) on South End Road, on its eastern side, from its junction with Maybank Avenue to outside nos. 444 and on the western side, opposite no. 438 and no. 444.
(h) Reduce the length of the existing school keep clear marking on Maybank Avenue by 6 metres, fronting nos. 130 and 132.
(i) Remove a section of residents parking bay outside no. 79 George Street and introduce a section of no waiting at any time restrictions.

Any objections or other representations about any of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Highways Traffic and Parking Group Manager, Havering Town Hall, Main Road, Romford, RM1 3BB, or schemes@havering.gov.uk, until the expiration period of 21 days from the date on which this Notice is published.  All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
