Mill Road and Coombe Hill - Temporary Road Closure To Sewer Rehabilitation Works

Temporary Closure of Mill Road and Coombe Hill
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Mill Road - from 60 metres east of the junction with Plot Gate, eastwards for a distance of 752 metres; and Coombe Hill - from the juction with Copis Lane, southwards for a distance of 378 metres. A total distance of 752 metres.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out phased sewer rehabilitation works (as and when signed on site).
The Order becomes effective on 28th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 1st September 2025 and last until 10th October 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 40 days.
