NOTICE OF CREATION OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY

HIGHWAYS ACT SECTION 25

YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY

FOOTPATH No. 20.74/63 (MUKER)

Take notice that, by agreement dated 3 July 2025, the right of way described below, situated at White Mossy Hill to the west of Ravenseat and northwest of Keld in North Yorkshire, has been dedicated for use by the public:

A public footpath to be known as Footpath No. 20.74/63 (Muker) extending from grid reference NY 8289 0531 on the boundary between Westmorland and Furness and the Yorkshire Dales National Park in North Yorkshire, and proceeding in a general southerly direction for approximately 1899 metres to a footbridge at NY 8328 0363, then continuing in a general southerly direction for approximately 923 metres to join Footpath 20.74/45 at NY 8354 0277.

Approximate length: 2822 metres

Width: 2 metres

This footpath will form part of the Coast to Coast Path National Trail. A connecting footpath is being pursued by Westmorland and Furness Council.
