Bowden Road - Temporary Road Closure For Poling Works

Temporary Closure of Bowden Road
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Bowden Road - from the junction with West Street, south-westwards for a total distance of 734 metres.
This Order will enable Openreach to carry out poling works.
The Order becomes effective on 28th August 2025 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 5th September 2025 and last until 5th September 2025 between the hours of 09:30 - 15:30 for a total of 6 hours.
