Furge Grove - Temporary Road Closure For Remedial Works

What is happening?

Temporary Closure of Furge Grove

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Furge Grove - from the junction with Wessex Court to the junction with Furge Lane. A total distance of 147 metres.

This Order will enable Wessex Internet to carry out remedial works.

The Order becomes effective on 28th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 1st September 2025 and last until 2nd September 2025 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
