Pulcroft Road - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Carriageway Maintenance Works
What is happening?

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
PULCROFT ROAD, HESSLE (PART)
East Riding of Yorkshire Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed along Pulcroft Road, Hessle (between Boothferry Road junction and Swanland Road junction).
The reason for the closure is to enable the proposed carriageway maintenance works, to be carried out and completed in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed within the given time.
The alternative route for traffic affected by the Order is via Boothferry Road and Swanland Road, Hessle.
The road will be closed to all through traffic but remain open at all times to pedestrians and for vehicular access to properties directly affected by the closure and for emergency services.
The Order will commence Friday 22 August 2025 and continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
