Victoria Avenue And Cole Lane, Ockbrook - Temporary Road Closure For Drainage Survey Works
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE VICTORIA AVENUE AND COLE LANE, OCKBROOK
WHEN: 15 August to 20 August 2025 (20:00 to 06:00 each night)
WHERE: Victoria Avenue, Ockbrook from the Jct. with the A52 eastbound for approx. 100m. Cole Lane, Ockbrook from its Jct. with the A52 eastbound for approx. 30m.
REASON: To facilitate drainage survey works on the A52 eastbound.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Victoria Avenue diversion - A52 eastbound, Sandiacre interchange, A52 westbound, Victoria Avenue.
Cole Lane diversion - Collier Lane, Victoria Avenue, A52 westbound to Spondon Roundabout, A52 eastbound.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
