A18 Mortal Ash Hill - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic For Resurfacing Works

What is happening?

NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE COUNCIL
(A18 Mortal Ash Hill, Scunthorpe)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025

On 31st July 2025, North Lincolnshire Council made an Order, the effect of which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding along the A18, Mortal Ash Hill, Scunthorpe.

This Order took effect on 6th Aug 2025 and will be effective until 5th Feb 2027.

Under this same Order, it is now proposed to undertake further works (resurfacing by NLC) overnight necessitating the closure of Mortal Ash Hill from the A18 Forest Pines Roundabout to the B1398 Kirton Rd Junction (both carriageways) 1st -5th Sept 2025 inclusive (but varied, if necessary, to take account of any unforeseen circumstances) 9pm-5am each night.

The diversion is A15, Gainsthorpe Rd East, B1398 and reverse.
