Myrtle Avenue - Temporary Road Closure For Repairs To Water Apparatus
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE MYRTLE AVENUE, LONG EATON
WHEN: 01 September to 05 September 2025.
WHERE: Myrtle Avenue, Long Eaton between its jct. with B6540 Tamworth Road and its jct. with Ash Grove.
REASON: To facilitate repairs to water apparatus.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B6540 Tamworth Road, Hawthorne Avenue, Ash Grove and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
