THE A45 TRUNK ROAD (RUSHDEN TO WELLINGBOROUGH, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN LAYBYS)
ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) intends to make an order on the A45 Trunk Road, between Rushden and Wellingborough in Northamptonshire, to enable resurfacing works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close any layby adjacent to the southbound carriageway of the A45 from its roundabout junction with the B645 Northampton Road, the A5001 and Southway, at Rushden, to its roundabout junction with the A509 Wilby Way and Bourton Way, at Wellingborough
The closures are expected to start at 13:00 hours on Monday 8 September 2025 and continue for twelve days. The Order will come into force on 1 September 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closures.
