Fritchley Lane - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
FRITCHLEY LANE, FRITCHLEY
WHEN: 01 September to 02 September 2025
WHERE: Fritchley Lane, Fritchley between its jct. with Hill Top and its jct. with Crich Road.
REASON: To facilitate the installation of Severn Trent Water apparatus.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Street, The Green, Allen Lane, Bullbridge Hill, Crich Common and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
