What is happening?

FALKIRK COUNCIL

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

B803, Falkirk from 08:00 until 17:00 on 17/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes B803, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Braemore in a southerly direction for approximately 250 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B803, B8022, B8028, B803 or vice versa

B818, Fankerton from 04:00 until 23:59 on 17/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes B818, Fankerton from a point adjacent to Fankerton Farm in a westerly direction for approximately 700 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B818, A872, A803, A891, B822, B818 or vice versa.

Bridgeness Road, Bo’ness 07:30 hours on 18/08/2025 until 17:00 hours on 27/08/2025 to allow for carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out.

1. This Order temporarily closes Bridgeness Road, Bo’ness, from its junction with Carriden Brae to a point 75m west of its junction with Bridgeness Lane.
2. The alternative route is:
a. West to East - A904, A993, A706, C82, A904 and vice versa.
b. East to West - A904, Commissioner Street, C82, A706, A993, A904 and vice versa.

Grange Terrace, Bo'ness from 08:00 on 18/08/25 until 23:59 on 26/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order temporarily closes Grange Terrace, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to number 26 in a westerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Grange Terrace, Erngath Road, A993, Grahamsdyke Avenue, Grange Terrace or vice versa.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2025

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Main Street, Avonbridge from 08:00 on 18/08/25 until 23:59 on 20/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Main Street, Avonbridge from a point adjacent to Slamannan Road in a southerly direction on both sides for approximately 80 metres or thereby.

Thistle Avenue/Allan Crescent, Dunipace from 09:30 until 18:00 on 19/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Thistle Avenue/Allan Crescent, Dunipace from a point adjacent to Stirling Street in a perpendicular direction on both sides for approximately 60 metres or thereby.

Ladeside Crescent, Stenhousemuir from 09:30 until 18:00 on 21/08/25. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.

1. This order prohibits waiting on Ladeside Crescent, Stenhousemuir from a point adjacent to Cedar Grove junction in all directions on both sides for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
