What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF ONE WAY ORDER
ST AUGUSTINES AVENUE, BIRDHOLME
WHEN: 01 September to 02 September 2025 (07:00 to 18:00 each day)
WHERE: St Augustines Avenue (south side) Birdholme, between its Jct. with Bacons Lane and its Jct. with St Augustines Road. Close St Augustines Avenue (north side), Birdholme, between its Jct. with St Augustines Road to its Jct. with St Augustines Drive.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway repair works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: South Side Diversion - Bacons Lane, A61, St Augustines Road and vice versa. North Side Diversion – St Augustines Road, Boythorpe Interchange, Boythorpe Road, Clarkson Avenue, St Augustines Drive Birdholme and vice versa. The road closure and one way suspension will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
