Storforth Lane - Temporary Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
STORFORTH LANE, CHESTERFIELD

WHEN: 15 August to 22 August 2025 (09:30 to 14:30 each day)
WHERE: Storforth Lane, Chesterfield between its Jct. with the A61 Derby Road to its Jct. with The Green.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway repair works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Clockwise - A61 Derby Road, Hornsbridge Interchange, A617 Bypass, A617 Off slip, St Leonards Drive, Hasland Road, The Green. Anti-Clockwise - The Green, Hasland Road, A617 On slip, A617, Hornsbridge Interchange, A61 Derby Road.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
