CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(SPRATTS LANE, KENSWORTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the entire length of Spratts Lane, Kensworth.
This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 1 to 3 September 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Hollicks Lane, B4540 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 1 September 2025 for a period of one month or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Mancroft Road, Caddington.
This temporary closure is required to enable drainage works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 1 to 18 September 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Dunstable Road, A5183, B4540 and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 1 September 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the entire length of Meadway, Dunstable.
This temporary closure is required to enable surface dressing and footway resurfacing work to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 18 to 29 August 2025. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Canesworde Road and West Street and vice versa.
The Order came into operation on 18 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency,, from proceeding along the length of Castle Hill Road, Totternhoe between number 217 and 223.
This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 19 to 21 August 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Church Road, Bower Lane, High Street, Totternhoe Road, Eaton Bray Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 19 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of Sandringham Drive, Houghton Regis at the junction with Milton Way.
This temporary closure is required to enable carriageway repair works to take place and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 18 to 20 August 2025 between the hours of 8am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via Windsor Drive, Parkside Drive, Park Road North and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 18 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Central Bedfordshire Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle, except a vehicle being used for fire, police or ambulance purposes in an emergency, from proceeding along the length of West Hyde Road, Hyde from A1081 for approximately 1 kilometre.
This temporary closure is required to enable a drainage survey to take place in safety and shall apply to such extent as may from time to time be indicated by the appropriate traffic signs. Where possible access will be maintained to property and premises but may be restricted from time to time according to local signing.
It is expected that the works will take place from 19 to 21 August 2025 between the hours of 9am and 6pm. The road will be closed at all times during this period.
The alternative route for this closure is via A1081, B653, West Hyde Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into operation on 19 August 2025 for a period of eighteen months or until the proposed works have been completed, as detailed above, whichever is the earlier.

CENTRAL BEDFORDSHIRE COUNCIL
(HARLINGTON: FOOTPATH NO. 2 AND
WESTONING: PART OF FOOTPATH NO. 15)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2025
Notice is hereby given that the Order made by Central Bedfordshire Council on the 14th February 2025 the effect of which will be to prohibit any person proceeding on foot along the length of the part of public footpath No.15, Westoning which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TL 0258 3111 to Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TL 0264 3109 and public footpath No. 2, Harlington which extends from Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TL 0262 3109 to Ordnance Survey Grid Reference TL 0331 3057 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 19th February 2026.
This temporary closure is required to enable site construction works to take place. The closure is expected to continue from 20th August 2025 for a further six months.
There is no alternative route along public rights of way for footpath users while the closure is in operation, however the developer may provide and sign an alternative route within their land.

The Order will continue in force until 19th February 2026 or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier. If the works are not completed within six months the Order may be extended for a longer period with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport.
