Penrhyncoch C1010 - Temporary restrictions due to travel path work

Mae’r Cyngor yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn Cyngor Sir Ceredigion (Gwahardd Traffig Trwodd Dros Dro) (C1010 Penrhyncoch) 2025 heb fod yn llai na saith diwrnod o 18/08/2025, er mwyn gwahardd cerbydau rhag teithio ar hyd y briffordd honno. Caniateir mynediad i gerddwyr. Y llwybr amgen ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio i’r de-orllewin o bwynt i’r gogledd-ddwyrain o’r darn ffordd a gaewyd bydd teithio ar hyd y C1010 i’r gyffordd â’r A4159. Trowch i’r chwith i’r A4159 gan barhau i gyfeiriad y gogledd tuag at y gyffordd â’r A487. Trowch i’r chwith i’r A487 gan barhau i gyfeiriad y de i’r gyffordd â’r C1010 a thuag at y darn ffordd a gaewyd. Cyfanswm pellter o oddeutu 1 ½ milltir. Bydd y Gorchymyn yn dod i rym ar 01/09/2025 ac yn parhau hyd nes bydd y gwaith ar y llwybr teithio gweithredol wedi’i gwblhau, bydd hyn yn cymryd tua 4 mis. Gall y Gorchymyn bara mewn grym am 18 mis.
Ceredigion County Council
The Council intends, not less than 7 days from 18/08/2025, to make the Ceredigion County Council (C1010 Penrhyncoch) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025 to prohibit any vehicle proceeding along that highway. Pedestrian access maintained. The alternative route for south-westbound traffic from a point north-east of the closure is to travel along the C1010 to the junction with the A4159. Turn left into the A4159 and travel northwards to the junction with the A487. Turn left into the A487 and travel southwards to the junction with the C1010 and the point of road closure. A total distance of approximately 1½ miles. It is intended that the Order will come into force on 01/09/2025 and will remain in place until the active travel path work is completed, this will take approximately 4 months.
The Order may continue in force for 18 months.
