What is happening?
THE HAMPSHIRE (A27 CAMS HILL / DELME ROUNDABOUT, FAREHAM) (WITH-FLOW BUS LANE AND PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council made the abovementioned Orders on Tuesday 29th July 2025, in exercise of its powers and duties under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 122 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act"), and all other enabling powers, after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act, and having discharged its duty under section 122 of the Act.
GENERAL NATURE AND EFFECTS OF THE ORDERS: Will be to implement a bidirectional cycle lane and bus lane along A27 Cams Hill and a bus lane at Delme Roundabout with the following provisions:
Road at Fareham in the Borough of Fareham
Prohibition of driving except pedal cycles
A27 Cams Hill (width A) westwards between its junction with Downend Road and its junction with Cams Hall, an approximate distance of 370 metres.

APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT: Any person desiring to question the validity or the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any relevant instrument made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, by Friday 19th September 2025 make application for the purpose to the High Court.
