What is happening?

Gorchymyn Sir Gaerfyrddin (Yr C2209 Heol Herberdeg Pont-iets) (Gwaharddiad Dros Dro ar Draffig Trwodd) 2025 

HYSBYSIR trwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy'n gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd yr C2209 Heol Herberdeg Pont-iets (SA15 5UP) o'r gyffordd â'r B4317 am bellter o oddeutu 515 metr i gyfeiriad cyffredinol y gogledd-ddwyrain/ de-ddwyrain. 

Lle bo'n bosibl caniateir i gerddwyr gael mynediad i eiddo unigol drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau. 

Y Ffordd Arall ar gyfer traffig sydd am deithio tua'r de-ddwyrain fydd parhau i gyfeiriad cyffredinol y gogledd/gogledd-ddwyrain ar hyd y B4317 tuag at Bont-iets. Ym Mhont-iets, troi i'r dde i'r B4309 a pharhau i gyfeiriad cyffredinol y de-ddwyrain tuag at Sgwâr Cynheidre hyd at y gyffordd â'r C2209. 

Wrth Sgwâr Cynheidre troi i'r dde i’r C2209 a pharhau i gyfeiriad y de-orllewin gan fynd heibio i'r eiddo o'r enw Fferm Caerbigyn ac yna troi i'r dde i’r C2209 a pharhau i gyfeiriad cyffredinol y gogledd-orllewin gan fynd heibio i'r eiddo o'r enw Herberdeg Villa i ddychwelyd i fan sydd i'r de-ddwyrain o'r man lle mae'r ffordd ar gau. I'r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer traffig sy'n teithio tua'r gogledd-orllewin. 

Bydd y Gorchymyn yn parhau mewn grym hyd nes bod Openreach Limited wedi cwblhau gwaith ar bolion a gwaith ffeibr arall.

The County of Carmarthenshire (C2209 Herberdeg Road Pontyates) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2025 

NOTICE is hereby given that Carmarthenshire County Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the C2209 Herberdeg Road Pontyates (SA15 5UP) from its junction with the B4317 for a distance of approximately 515 metres in a general north-easterly/south easterly direction. 

Pedestrian access to individual properties will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure. 

The Alternative Route for south-east bound traffic will be to proceed in a general north/north easterly direction along the B4317 towards Pontyates. At Pontyates turn right onto the B4309 and proceed in a general south easterly direction towards Cynheidre Square to its junction with the C2209. 

At Cynheidre Square turn right on the C2209 and proceed in a south westerly direction passing the property known as Caerbigyn Farm then turning right on the C2209 and proceeding in a general north-westerly direction passing the property known as Herberog Villa to return to a point south east of the closure. 

Vice Versa for north west bound traffic. 

The Order will continue in force until Openreach Limited complete poling and other fibre works. 

It is intended that the works will commence on Tuesday 26th August 2025 and continue for a period of 14 days. 

Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
