What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety.

BARTON ROAD, BARLESTONE
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. 
The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 weeks to allow R4 Civils on behalf of MyPad & their appointed contractors to undertake new connection, development works & other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be via: West End, Newbold Rd, Barlestone Rd, Bagworth Rd, Bosworth Ln, A447 Ashby Rd & vice versa. Due to the nature of works involved there will be no through route for emergency services.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

EQUITY ROAD EAST, EARL SHILTON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER 2025
The Order will come into force on 19/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days to allow National Grid & their contractors to undertake installation of new apparatus & other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Breach Ln, Station Rd, Equity Rd, Earl Shilton & vice versa.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to carry out carriageway patching & other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

HUNCOTE ROAD, FROM HUNCOTE ROAD TO HILL STREET, CROFT
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025
The Order will come into force on 20/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 week to allow BT to undertake repair & maintenance work. The proposed diversion route will be via: Station Rd, Broughton Rd, Coventry Rd, Croft; Broughton Rd, Long St, Huncote Rd, Stoney Stanton; Stanton Ln, Potters Marsden; Huncote Rd, Croft.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to carry out various highway maintenance & patching works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Sutton Ln, Bosworth Rd, Main St, Stapleton Ln, Hinckley Rd, Church Ln, Ashby Rd, The Park, Rectory Ln & vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 18/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 months to allow Ashlane Construction Ltd on behalf of Persimmon Homes & their appointed contractors to undertake associated development & connection works. This order may include other third party works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Church St, Hill Top, High St, The Hollow, Station Rd, Clickers Wy, B581 Station Rd, Stanton Rd, New Rd, Long St, Huncote Rd, Stanton Ln, Pingle Ln, Potters Marston Ln & vice versa. Emergency services through route cannot be maintained during closure.
