What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

IMPLEMENTATION OF 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION
REVOCATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make a Revocation Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to revoke the Order made under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 cited as “THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (GRANGE ROAD, HUGGLESCOTE) (TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION) ORDER 2024” made on the 26/09/2024 and which came into effect on 30/09/2024 to enable Cadeby Homes to construct & thereafter safely enter & egress a temporary access to their site & to subsequently carry out its removal & any other associated works, as specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice. It is expected that the Revocation Order will come into effect on 01/09/2025.

SCHEDULE 1
TEMPORARY IMPLEMENTATION OF 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION

Grange Rd, Hugglescote from a point approx. 204m South East of its Jct. with Blackham Rd to a point approx. 380m West of Usherwood Wy.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

STATION STREET, KIBWORTH BEAUCHAMP
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 10 weeks. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow Severn Trent Water to facilitate emergency water leak repair works.

The proposed diversion route will be via: High St, Fleckney Rd, Warwick Rd, Wistow Rd, Leicester Rd, Church Rd & vice versa.

Station St, Kibworth Beauchamp for its entire length.

VARIOUS ROADS, DESFORD
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 weeks to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT & their contractors to undertake installation of new apparatus & other associated works.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 6 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 6 months to allow Jelson Ltd & their contractors to facilitate development works & other associated works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC INCLUDING PEDESTRIANS, EQUESTRIANS & NON-MOTORISED TRAFFIC
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING & LOADING AT ANY TIME ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 12 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Network Rail to undertake inspection & maintenance works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC INCLUDING PEDESTRIANS, EQUESTRIANS & NON-MOTORISED TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 01/09/2025 and have a maximum duration of 12 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 10 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway patching work.

The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council has made the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

JOHN STREET, ENDERBY
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2025

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 19/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake hydrant renewal works. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The Order will come into force on 20/08/2025 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake repairs to apparatus & other associated works.

The proposed diversion route will be via: B591 Copt Oak Rd, Whitwick Rd & vice versa.
