PART OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 185 EAST KEAL
PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2025
The above Order made on 24 July 2025 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert that whole width of Public Footpath No.185 in the parish of East Keal running from the public highway at OSGR TF 3783 6401(A) in a generally south easterly direction for approximately 86 metres to OSGR TF 3790 6396 (B). The total length of footpath to be diverted is approximately 86 metres as shown between points A-B on Order drawing number S/045/01960/24/01 TO AN ALTERNATIVE ROUTE in the parish of East Keal to be 2 metres wide running from the public highway at OSGR TF 3790 6403 (C) in a generally southerly direction for approximately 61 metres to join Public Footpath 184 at OSGR TF 3790 6396 (B). The total length of footpath to be added is approximately 61 metres as shown between points C-B on Order drawing number S/045/01960/24/01. Limitation – Kissing Gate – Point C – OSGR TF 3790 6403, 1.2 metre wide. BS5709:2018 compliant. A copy of the Order and the Order drawing have been placed and may be seen during office hours at Main Reception, East Lindsey District Council, The Hub and Willow House, Mareham Road, Horncastle, Lincolnshire, LN9 6PH. Any representation about or objection to the Order, clearly stating the grounds on which it is made, may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Michelle Walker, East Lindsey District Council, The Hub and Willow House, Mareham Road, Horncastle, Lincolnshire, LN9 6PH (e-mail: michelle.walker@e-lindsey.gov.uk) not later than 11 September 2025. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, East Lindsey District Council may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. Any representations or objections that have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation.
