NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Newcastle upon Tyne intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and has received consent from the Secretary of State for Transport to make such an Order.

Exemptions will be provided for police, fire brigade and ambulance vehicles on emergency call and vehicles associated with the event.

The Order will come into operation on 6 September 2025 and will continue for a period of 7 September 2025, as and when relevant traffic signs are displayed.
