The County of Cornwall (Tregolds Lane, Padstow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Padstow. This prohibition is necessary for drainage works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th September 2025 to 26th September 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Road affected - Tregolds Lane, Padstow between property known as Trefurse and Sanders Hill.

The County of Cornwall (Fairway, Carlyon Bay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Carlyon Bay.
This prohibition is necessary for drainage works and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th September 2025 to 8th October 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Fairway, Carlyon Bay between No 44 and property known as The Roseland.

The County of Cornwall (Road From Junction North Of Abattoir To Taylors Lane, Newquay) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Newquay. This prohibition is necessary for installation of new sewer system and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th September 2025 to 21st September 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
Road affected - Road From Junction North Of Abattoir To Taylors Lane, Newquay from junction with Smithfield Court to outside the Theatre.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for works to patch carriageway surface and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th September 2025 to 10th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.
Road affected - Tregorrick Road, St Austell from junction with Porthpean Road to junction with Road From Sawles Road To Tregorrick Road.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in St Austell. This prohibition is necessary for works to patch carriageway surface and it is expected that the closure will be from 8th September 2025 to 20th September 2025. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekends included.
Road affected - Road From Junction East Of Pengrugla To B3273 At Junction South Of Tregiskey Farm, St Austell for its entire length.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 8th August 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Unrecorded Path from the South West Coast Path to Whipsederry Beach, Newquay between grid references SW 83110:63170 to SW 83128:63179.
The Order which commenced on the 9th August 2024 and is currently in force for up to six months will now continue until the 9th August 2027. The continuance of this Order, which was to have expired on the 9th August 2025 has been approved by the Secretary of State for Transport.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to cliff fall.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bodmin. This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 12th September 2025 for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Tredethy Road, Bodmin from junction with Bodwen Lane to junction with Barton Road.

The County of Cornwall (St Michaels Road, Newquay) (Temporary Prohibition of Stopping) Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in Newquay.
Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site.
This prohibition is necessary to facilitate Capital footway scheme and it is expected that the prohibition will be from 8th September 2025 to 26th September 2025.
Road subject to stopping prohibition - St Michaels Road, Newquay between St Georges Road and Marcus Hill. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being A39 Between Gonvena Hill And Tredruston Road, Wadebridge for its entire length for approximately 3840 metres.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because works to re-waterproof bridge deck are being executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation on 8th September 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 3rd April 2026.
The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 21st April 2025 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Trevenson Road, Newquay between Newquay Tretherras School and Recycling Centre.
The Order which commenced on the 22nd April 2025 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 29th August 2025.
The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed due to essential works to deliver the Newquay Strategic Route.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.

Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2025
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 40 MPH over an area of highway being Pendoggett Road, St Kew, Bodmin between grid references SX 02718 79595 and SX 02918 79814 for approximately 290 metres.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because pole replacement and testing works are being executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation on 9th September 2025 and the works are expected to be completed by the 9th September 2025. The restriction will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530 on a daily basis, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Tintagel.
This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 9th September 2025, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekdays only.
Road affected - Road From Trebarwith Strand To Trewarmett Hill, Trebarwith Strand, Tintagel between the entrance to Trebarwith Strand Car Park and grid reference SX 05712 86397.
