TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BYWAY OPEN TO ALL TRAFFIC HITCHIN 007

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians, horse riders, cyclists and vehicles from using that length of Byway Open to All Traffic Hitchin 007, heading north from its junction with Gray’s Lane to West Hill, for an approximate distance of 90m.

Alternative Route – via West Hill, Old Park Road and Gray’s Lane.

The purpose of the Order is to enable utilities works to take place.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE FOOTPATH SITUATED BETWEEN NO.22 SIDDONS ROAD

AND NO.35 AUSTEN PATHS, STEVENAGE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using the footpath situated between No.22 Siddons Road and No.35 Austen Paths, Stevenage from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.51 Austen Paths north westwards for a distance of approximately 10m (“the Footpath”).

An alternative route will be via the footpath situated between No.22 Siddons Road and No.35 Austen Paths, the footpath situated on the south side of Nos.53-69 Austen Paths, the footpath situated on the east side of Nos.69-91 Austen Paths, the footway situated on the south east side of Siddons Road and the footpath situated between No.22 Siddons Road and No.35 Austen Paths.

The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed near the Footpath.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 August 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Footpath.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN HEXTON, ST IPPOLYTS AND KINGS WALDEN) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads while works are in progress:

1. that length of B655 Barton Road, Hexton from its junction with Hexton Public Footpath No.04 south westwards, north westwards, south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 1532m.

An alternative route will be via B655 (Hitchin Road/Hexton Road/Pirton Road), A505 (Offley Road/Moormead Hill/Offley Bypass/Hitchin Road/Stopsley Way), A5228 (Hitchin Road/Stockingstone Road), A6 (New Bedford Road/Barton Road/Luton Road) and B655 (Luton Road/Hexton Road).

2. that length of Sperberry Hill, St Ippolyts from its junction with Titheland Lane south westwards, westwards and south westwards to its junction with B656 London Road, a distance of approximately 444m.

An alternate route will be via Titheland Lane, Little Almshoe Lane and B656 London Road.

3. that length of Plough Lane, Kings Walden from its junction with Whitehall Road north eastwards to its junction with Cox Green, a distance of approximately 375m.

An alternative route will be via Whitehall Road, Ley Green, Kingswell End Road and Cox Green.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT MEASURES ON PINNOCKS LANE, BALDOCK) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect on the following lengths of road (“the lengths of Road”) will be:

1. To prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Pinnocks Lane, Baldock from its junction with B197 High Street north eastwards to its junction with Pinnocks Close, a distance of approximately 44m.

An alternative route will be via B197 High Street, South Road, Pembroke Road and Pinnocks Lane.

2. The existing one way traffic system on Pinnocks Lane, Baldock from its junction with B197 High Street north eastwards to its junction with Pembroke Road, a distance of approximately 143m will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this length of road, whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the lengths of Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the lengths of Road.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF SHEPHALL GREEN, STEVENAGE) ORDER NO.2 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Shephall Green, Stevenage from a point in line with the eastern boundary of ‘The Old Red Lion Public House’ south westwards for a distance of approximately 40m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via Shephall Green, Hydean Way and Shephall Green.

ADDITIONALLY the existing one way traffic system on Shephall Green, Stevenage will be temporarily suspended to enable all vehicles to travel in both directions within this road, whilst works are in progress.

The Order is needed because electrical connection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 26 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”), except for access and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:

1. that length of Luton Road, Offley from its junction with Offley Hill south westwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 412m.

An alternative route will be via Offley Hill, C134 (unnamed road), A505 (Offley Bypass/Moorhead Hill/Offley Road/Upper Tilehouse Street), the A602 Park Way roundabout, A505 (Upper Tilehouse Street/Offley Road/Moorhead Hill/Offley Bypass), the A505 Hitchin Road roundabout, A505 Offley Bypass, Beech Hill Service Road, Lilley Bottom, Hollybush Hill and Luton Road.

2. that length of Offley Hill, Offley from its junction with Luton Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 44m.

An alternative route will be via Offley Hill, C134 (unnamed road), A505 (Offley Bypass/Moorhead Hill/Offley Road/Upper Tilehouse Street), the A602 Park Way roundabout, A505 (Upper Tilehouse Street/Offley Road/Moorhead Hill/Offley Bypass), the A505 Hitchin Road roundabout, A505 Offley Bypass, Beech Hill Service Road, Lilley Bottom, Hollybush Hill and Luton Road.

3. that length of High Street, Offley from its junction with Luton Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 47m.

An alternative route will be via Luton Road, Hollybush Hill, Lilley Bottom, C24 (unnamed road), C25 (unnamed road), Hoo Lane, Kings Walden Road and High Street.

4. that length of School Lane, Offley from its junction with Luton Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 27m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 25 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cycles from using the cycle track situated on the north east side of Hertford Road, Stevenage from its junction with Roebuck Gate north westwards for a distance of approximately 21m (“the Cycle Track”).

Pedal Cyclists will need to dismount and use the adjacent footway.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycle Track.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 12 August 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Cycle Track.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN VARIOUS ROADS IN STEVENAGE) ORDER NO.2 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”) and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:

1. the A602 Six Hills Way/A602 Lytton Way roundabout, Stevenage from its junction with A1070 Six Hills Way clockwise for a distance of approximately 309m.

An alternative route will be via A1070 Six Hills Way, A1155 (Fairlands Way/St Georges Way) and A602 Six Hills Way.

2. that length of A1070 Six Hills Way, Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Six Hills Way/A602 Lytton Way roundabout south westwards to its junction with the A1072 Gunnels Wood Road roundabout, a distance of approximately 497m.

An alternative route will be via A602 Six Hills Way, A1155 (St Georges Way/Fairlands Way) and A1072 Gunnels Wood Road.

3. that length of B197 London Road, Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Six Hills Way/A602 Lytton Way roundabout south eastwards, south westwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 390m.

An alternative route will be via A602 (Six Hills Way/Monkswood Way), B197 Monkswood Way and B197 London Road or via A1070 Six Hills Way, A1072 Gunnels Wood Road, A602 Broadhall Way and B197 (Monkswood Way/London Road).

4. that length of A602 Lytton Way, Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Six Hills Way/B197 London Road roundabout north westwards to its junction with the A1155 Fairlands Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 674m.

An alternative route will be via A1070 Six Hills Way, A1072 Gunnels Wood Road and A1155 Fairlands Way or via A602 Six Hills Way and A1155 (St Georges Way/Fairlands Way).

5. that length of A602 Six Hills Way, Stevenage from its junction with the A1070 Six Hills Way/A602 Lytton Way roundabout north eastwards to its junction with the A1155 St Georges Way/A602 Monkswood Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 226m.

An alternative route will be via A1070 Six Hills Way, A1072 Gunnels Wood Road and A1155 (Fairlands Way/St Georges Way).

6. that length of Danestrete, Stevenage from its junction with the A602 Six Hills Way/A602 Lytton Way roundabout north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 55m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF THE CYCLE TRACK SITUATED ON THE SOUTH WEST SIDE OF A1072 GUNNELS WOOD ROAD, STEVENAGE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedal cycles from using the cycle track situated on the south west side of A1072 Gunnels Wood Road, Stevenage from a point 295m south east of its junction with Bessemer Drive south eastwards for a distance of approximately 66m (“the Cycle Track”).

Pedal Cyclists will need to dismount and use the adjacent footway.

The Order is needed because utility repair works are proposed to be executed on or near the Cycle Track.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 August 2025 for a period of up to 6 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Cycle Track.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Woodland Way, Baldock from its junction with London Road south eastwards for a distance of approximately 30m (“the Road”).

An alternative route will be via London Road, Chiltern Road and Woodland Way.

The Order is needed because the replacement of existing gas mains is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 11 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

The Order is needed because utility service works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the southbound carriageway of Grace Way, Stevenage from its junction with Sish Lane south eastwards and southwards to its junction with the A1155 Fairlands Way roundabout, a distance of approximately 260m (“the Road”), except for access.

An alternative route will be via Grace Way, A1072 Martins Way and A1155 (Verity Way/Fairlands Way).

The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

The Order has been made and shall come into force on 8 August 2025 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.
