Arne Street And Endell Street - Introduce “At Any Time” Loading Restrictions

What is happening?

CITY OF WESTMINSTER

ARNE STREET AND ENDELL STREET THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (G ZONE) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Order under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be, in connection with the redevelopment of No. 90 Long Acre, to:

(a) introduce “at any time” loading restrictions throughout Arne Street;

(b) shorten the residents’ parking place on the northeast side of Endell Street, opposite Nos. 11 - 13, by 1.9 metres;

 (c) shorten the residents’ parking place on the northeast side of Endell Street, opposite Nos. 3 - 7, by 0.3 metres; and

(d) extend the single yellow line waiting restrictions (operating between 8.30a.m. and 6.30p.m. on Mondays to Saturdays) on the north-east side of Endell Street, opposite No. 9, by 1.1 metres.

3. The proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Order is made or the Council decides not to make the Order at https:// westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00a.m. and 5.00p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). Any objections or other representations about the proposals should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, WSP Traffic Order Team, 3rd Floor, WSP House, 70 Chancery Lane, London, WC2A 1AF, or by email to tmo.westminster@wsp.com quoting reference 8158/LH, by 3rd September 2025. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
