THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (BETWEEN OLD STRATFORD AND MANCETTER) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN LAYBYS) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an order on the A5 Trunk Road, between Old Stratford and Mancetter in West Northamptonshire, North Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire to enable cyclical maintenance works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close, at different times, any layby adjacent to the A5, between its roundabout junction with the A508 and the A422, at Old Stratford, and its roundabout junction with the B4116, Carlyon Road and Nuneaton Road, at Mancetter.
The work is expected to start at 13:00 hours on Tuesday 26 August 2025 and continue for approximately seven weeks. The Order will come into force on 19 August 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works or for winter maintenance purposes will be exempt from the closures.

THE A5 TRUNK ROAD (HINCKLEY, LEICESTERSHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC IN LAYBY) ORDER 2025
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 9346363) has made an order on the A5 Trunk Road, at Hinckley, in the County of Leicestershire to enable telecommunication works to be carried out.
The effect of the Order will be to close the layby adjacent to the southbound carriageway of the A5, approximately 280 metres southeast of the centrepoint of the roundabout junction of the A5 with Hinckley Road, Rugby Road and the M69 Junction 1 slip roads, at Hinckley.
The layby is expected to be closed from 20:00 hours on Tuesday 26 August 2025 until 06:00 hours on Monday 8 September 2025. The Order will come into force on 19 August 2025.
Vehicles being used for police, fire and rescue authority or ambulance purposes and vehicles being used in connection with the works will be exempt from the closure.
