TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC144993618: The City of Manchester (Waterloo Street, Crumpsall Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2025 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Waterloo Street From Harpurhey Road to Celia Street. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Waterloo Street, Factory Lane, Rochdale Road, Harpurhey Road and Vice Versa. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Frame and cover replacement . It is expected that the works will be in progress from 23rd August 2025 to 23rd August 2025 between the hours of 09:30 and 14:00. The order shall come into operation on 23rd August 2025 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
