What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY 50 MPH / 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT
A38 MANSFIELD ROAD, SOUTH NORMANTON
WHEN: 16 August to 17 August 2025 (04:00 to 11:00 each day)
WHERE: It will be necessary to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 50 mph (30 mph past works), from the Jct. with the Pinxton Interchange M1 J28 to the county boundary.
REASON: To facilitate highway maintenance works.
The restriction will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire - 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 50 mph (30 mph past works).
