What is happening?

THE EAST RIDING OF YORKSHIRE COUNCIL
(ON STREET PARKING PLACES)
(CIVIL ENFORCEMENT)
(CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO 86)
(MAIN STREET, MELBOURNE) ORDER 2025

1. East Riding of Yorkshire Council proposes to make
a Road Traffic Regulation Order to amend The East
Riding of Yorkshire Council (On Street Parking Places)
(Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2021, the
effect of which will be to:
a) Amend the existing School Keep Clear restrictions
from School Keep Clear No Stopping Monday to
Friday, 8am - 9am and 3pm - 4pm to School Keep
Clear No Stopping Monday to Friday, 8am - 9am and
2.30pm - 3.30pm.
b) Amend the existing Bus Stand restrictions from Bus
Stand Monday to Friday, 8am - 9am and 3pm - 4pm to
Bus Stand Monday to Friday, 8am - 9am and
2.30pm - 3.30pm.
2. The proposed changes are shown on Plan Tile
Reference CZ47A which are attached to the
proposed Order. An annotated illustrative drawing
is also available for inspection with reference
TMN2503/1200/01 which shows for ease of
reference the proposed amendments. If the Order
becomes operative Plan Tile Reference CZ47A will
be incorporated into The East Riding of Yorkshire
Council (On Street Parking Places)
(Civil Enforcement) (Consolidation) Order 2021 to
replace the existing Plan Tile Reference CZ47.
3. A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and a
statement of the council’s reasons for proposing
to make the Order are available for inspection
at Pocklington Pocela Centre, 23 Railway Street,
Pocklington, YO42 2QU. A copy of the street notice
and relevant plan have been placed on the council’s
website (East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Traffic
Management and Road Safety). Any enquiries relating

4. Objections to the proposed Order, stating the
grounds for objection, should be emailed to

or sent in
writing to East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Traffic
& Parking Services (Ref: TMN2503), Streetscene
Services, Beverley Depot, Annie Reed Road, Beverley,
HU17 0LF by 3 September 2025.
