Staunton on Arrow, Temporary Road Closure Due To Tree Trimming Works

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under Its relevant powers, made the following Order: C1023 & U91607, Staunton on Arrow, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the crossroads junction of the C1023 & U91607, Staunton on Arrow. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal Is shown below:
C1023 Staunton on Arrow is via the U91606 and vice versa.
U91607 Staunton on Arrow (west of crossroads) Is via the U91609 onto the B4362 onto the C1023 and vice versa.
U91607 Staunton on Arrow (east of crossroads) Is via the U91607 onto the C1023 onto the B4362 and vice versa.
The said closures are required due to tree trimming works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 19th of August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
