Sellarsbrook, Temporary Road Closure Parapet Remedial Works

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: U71230, Sellarsbrook, Ganarew, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U71230, Sellarsbrook, Ganarew, approximately 200 metres north of the junction with the C1251. Grid Ref: 353118/216683.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Sellarsbrook onto the C1251, onto Lewistone Ash Road, onto Sellarsbrook and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to parapet remedial works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 18th of August 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 5 days.
