Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Bucknell, Middle-ton Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 18 August 2025 Coming into force: 27 August 2025 This Order is being introduced because of fibre cabling work which are anticipated to take until 18 September 2025 to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Middleton Road from the junction of Bicester Road to outside Gaglebrook. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via Bicester Road, Howes Lane, B4030 and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T16106/RMF)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Kidlington, Footpath Axtell Close closure Date of Order: 4 August 2025 Coming into force: 11 August 2025 This Order is being introduced because of new electricity supply which is anticipated to be completed on 22 August 2025. This is a 24 hour footpath closure. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily the section of the footpath beside No.58 Axtell Close. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of footpath. The alternative route will be signed via the alternative footpath to the north. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. (Ref: T16130/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Bicester, A41 Oxford Road Road Restrictions Date of Order: 4 August 2025 Coming into force: 11 August 2025 This Order is being introduced because of overhead and underground fibre cabling works which are anticipated to take until 16/8/2025 to complete - overnight working from 21:00 to 05:00hrs.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily reduce the running lanes for traffic towards Bicester by closing the outside lane of Oxford Road from Pioneer Way traffic lights to the A41 roundabout. There will also be 'No right turn' into and from Pioneer Way with traffic directed via the A41 roundabout. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Kidlington, Footpath 125-137 Wilsdon Way Date of Order: 18 August 2025 Coming into force: 25 August 2025 This Order is being introduced because of electrical maintenance works on behalf of SSEN which is anticipated to be completed on 5/9/2025. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily part of the footpath in front of Nos.97-109 and 125-137 Wilsdon Way, Kidlington. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of footpath. The alternative route will be signed locally and appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. (Ref: T15350/RMF)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Bicester, Victoria Road Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 18 August 2025 Coming into force: 26 August 2025 This Order is being introduced because of new low voltage electrical connection across the road which is anticipated to take until 3 September 2025 to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the length of Victoria Road south of Linden Road.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic affected by the closure is via Launton Road, London Road, B4100 Manorsfield Road, St John's Street, Sheep Street, Bell Lane and vice versa.
