Gloucestershire, Temporary Road Closures Due To Various Works

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C143 ROAD FROM RESTRICTED BYWAY TO BURFORD ROAD (SHERBORNE PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C143 Road from Restricted Byway to Burford Road from outside the property known as ‘Mill Hill Farm’ to outside the property known as ‘Moors Copse’ for a distance of approximately 559 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for Highway patching works.

The said road is expected to be closed between the hours of 07:30 and 17:00 on 15th August 2025 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Emergency access and pedestrian access to premises on or next to the said road will not be maintained due to the works taking place across a narrow lane.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE 400660 CHAPEL LANE (BLEDINGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 400660 Chapel Lane Road from outside the property known as ‘Keystones Cottage’ to outside the property known as ‘Barn Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 58 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for sewer repair works.

The said road is expected to be closed between 08:00hrs and 16:30hrs each day from 26th August 2025 until 8th September 2025 or until the said works have been completed.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the said road will be maintained. Emergency access, with vehicles, will not be maintained due to the works involving digging up the carriageway.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE B4077 FORD MANOR TO CHARNAL PLANTATION (TEMPLE GUITING PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the B4077 Ford Manor Road to Charnal Plantation from its junction with Windrush Court to outside the property known as ‘The Cottage’ for a distance of approximately 37 metres.

The reason for the said closure is for bridge maintenance works.

The said road is expected to be closed from 26th August 2025 until 26th September 2025 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Alternative Route – as signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the said road will be maintained. Emergency access will not be maintained due to the road being excavated.
