ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U9510 MATFEN CLOSE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9510 Matfen Close, Blyth for its entire length of 112 metres in the County of
Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 27th February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th February 2026.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

U9510 ELSDON CLOSE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intend to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9510 Elsdon Close, Blyth for its entire length of 125 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 27th February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th February 2026.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

U6513 ROWLINGTON TERRACE ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6513 Rowlington Terrace Ashington from its junction with Sixth Avenue heading southwards for a distance of 158 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 27th February 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 15th September 2025 until the 19th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th February 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Milburn Road, Seventh Avenue, Norham Road, Sixth Avenue and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

U6537 NORTH VIEW BACK LANE AND EAST VIEW BEDLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Bedlington in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 31st August 2025 until the 14th September 2025 Road Closures
• U6537 North View Back Lane from a point at the rear of 16 North View heading north eastwards and then southwards for a distance of 98 metres
• U6537 East View for its entire length.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed on the 31st August 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00; however, the order will remain in place until 14th September 2025.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

U9517 CHESTER GROVE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Blyth in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 27th March 2026.
U9517 Chester Grove Blyth from its junction with Southend Avenue heading northwards for a distance of 290 metres.
U9517 Chester Grove from a point at the front of house number 73 heading westwards for a distance of 38 metres.
U9517 Chester Grove from a point at the front of house number 27 heading eastwards for a distance of 58 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th March 2026.
There will be no alternative route available for the duration of the TTRO.

U9540 Barrownburn Place from its junction with Bonnivard Gardens heading eastwards and then southwards for a distance of 245 metres.
U9540 Barrownburn Place from a point at the front of house number 7 heading north eastwards and then south eastwards for a distance of 280 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th March 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 5th March 2026.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Cramlington in the County of Northumberland.
Road Closures :
• U9558 Denby Close for its entire length
• U9558 Delamere Crescent for its entire length
The Order is to be effective from the 1st September 2025 until the 27th February 2026.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 1st September 2025 until the 5th September 2025 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 daily during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th February 2026.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO REVOKE IN ACCORDANCE WITH PART IV OF SCHEDULE 9
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
B1331 NETHERTON ROAD BEDLINGTON AND U6540 ALNWICK DRIVE BEDLINGTON
(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION REVOCATON) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intend to revoke an Order made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended the effect of which is to revoke in its entirety the following Order.
Northumberland County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 (1) B1331 Netherton Road Bedlington U6540 Alnwick Drive Bedlington dated 30th April 2025 which had the effect of road closures on the following sections of highways:
• B1331 Netherton Road Bedlington from its junction with Hazelmere Avenue heading in a westerly direction for a length of 592 metres.
• U6540 Alnwick Drive from its junction with the B1331 heading in a northerly direction for a length of 30 metres.
This Revocation Order will be effective from 23:59 hours on 31st August 2025.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)(A)
U9558 NORTHUMBRIA ROAD FP LINK TO HORTON DRIVE, CRAMLINGTON
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:
Temporary Footway Closure:
The U9558 Northumbrian Road FP Link to Horton Drive from it’s junction with Northumbrian Road for a distance of 20 metres in a north-easterly direction in the County of Northumberland (“the Footway”) should be prohibited because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Footway to excavate, locate and repair a faulty cable.
An alternative route will be via the C419 Northumbrian Road, the U9558 Underwood Grove Shared Cyclepath and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
U9516 TWENTIETH AVENUE BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U9516 Twentieth Avenue from a point at the front of house number 47 heading northwards for a distance of 208 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 15th August 2025 until the 18th August 2025 .
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 15th August 2025 between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00; however, the order will remain in place until 18th August 2025.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Twentieth Avenue, Twentysixth Avenue, Twentyfifth Avenue, Newlands Road, Fifteenth Avenue, Sixth Avenue, Eighth Avenue and Twelfth Avenue and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

A1068 CHOPPINGTON ROAD BEDLINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) (ORDER 2) 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A1068 Choppington Road, Bedlington from its junction with Schalksmuhle Road heading northwards for a distance of 220 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 25th August 2025 until the 1st March 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th August 2025 until the 29th August 2025 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 nightly during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 1st March 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the A1068, A196, A192 and vice versa. Should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

A189 SPINE ROAD (VARIOUS LOCATIONS)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order which will prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland.
This Order will hereby further restrict the speed of vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 14th August 2025 until the 31st December 2026.
Road Closures:
• A189 from Moor Farm roundabout to the Three Horse Shoes Roundabout northbound and southbound lanes for a distance of 9120 metres.
Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the B1505 and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
• A189 Annitsford to Moor Farm northbound and southbound lanes for a distance of 1740 metres.
Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the B1505.
• A189 Three Horse Shoes to Bebside northbound and southbound lanes for a distance of 5080 metres.
Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the B1505, A193 and viceversa.
• A189 North Seaton Roundabout to Bedlington Interchange northbound and southbound lanes for a distance of 8460 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th August 2025 until the 17th August 2025, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the A1147, A196, B1334 and vice-versa.
• A189 Woodhorn Roundabout to North Seaton Roundabout northbound and southbound lanes for a distance of 3520 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd August 2025 until the 24th August 2025, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1334, A197 and vice-versa.
It is expected that the southbound carriageway will only be closed from the 8th September 2025 until the 13th September 2025, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 nightly during this
period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the A197 and B1334. A189 Bedlington Interchange to Bebside northbound and southbound lanes for a distance of 2700 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd August 2025 until the 24th August 2025, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the B1331, A193 and vice versa. A189 Spine Road Moor Farm to Kitty Brewster Bridge Northbound entrance and exit Slip Roads from its junction with B1505 Klondyke for a distance of 210 metres.
It is expected that the roads will only be closed from the 28th August 2025 until the 26th September 2025, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the B1505.
A189 Spine Road Moor Farm to Kitty Brewster Bridge southbound entrance Slip Road from its junction with B1326 Klondyke to Seaton Delaval for a distance of 240 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 28th August 2025 until the 26th September 2025, between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via the B1326, A192 and A1061.
Speed Restrictions: 70mph down to 50mph
Speed restrictions will hereby further be in force on the following lengths of roads and no vehicular traffic shall travel in excess of 50mph on those roads as signposted:
• A189 Spine Road Annitsford to Moor Farm for its entire length.
Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
• A189 Spine Road Moor Farm to Kitty Brewster Bridge for its entire length.
It is expected this restriction will be in operation from the 14th August 2025 until the 31st December 2025, the restriction will be in place at all times during this period.
• A189 Spine Road Kitty Brewster Bridge to Woodhorn Round for its entire length
Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
Speed Restrictions: 70mph down to 30mph
Speed restrictions will hereby further be in force on the following lengths of roads and no vehicular traffic shall travel in excess of 30mph on those roads as signposted:
• A189 Spine Road Annitsford to Moor Farm for its entire length.
Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
• A189 Spine Road Moor Farm to Kitty Brewster Bridge for its entire length.
Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
• A189 Northbound Carriageway starting from 165 metres northwards of its junction with Moor Farm Roundabout heading northwards for a distance of 4190 metres whilst contraflow and/or lane closures are in operation.
• A189 Southbound Carriageway starting from its junction with the Southbound Exit Slip Road to Three Horse Shoes roundabout heading southwards for a distance of 4400 metres whilst contraflow and/or lane closures are in operation.
It is expected this restriction will be in operation from the 14th August 2025 until the 26th September 2025, this restriction will be in place at all times during this period.
• A189 Spine Road Kitty Brewster Bridge to Woodhorn Round for its entire length
Expected work dates are yet to be confirmed however they will be signposted in advance of commencement of works.
The Order for the above road closures and speed restrictions will remain in place until 31st December 2026.
