Order made: To close that part of C2009 Blacksmiths Ln from its junction with B4085 Main St to its junction with U45027 Roberts Ln.

Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: B4085 Main St, B4085 Blacksmiths, C2047 Station Rd, C2049 Honeybourne Rd, C2049 Briarcliff Rd, C2009 High St, C2006 Buckle St, C2009 Sheenhill Rd, C2009 Shinehill Ln, C2009 Blacksmiths Ln (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 10 days.

Alternative route: C2047 Station Rd (part), B4510 Evesham Rd, C2050 Bennetts Hill, C2050 Long Hyde Rd, B4085 Shinehill Rd, B4085 Blackminster, C2047 Station Rd (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 5 days.

Reason: New customer connection by Wales & West Utilities Ltd.

No access for emergency services as access cannot be maintained.

Alternative route: No diversion route as cul de sac.

Reason: Railway maintenance (level crossing) by Network Rail.

No access for emergency services, must follow diversion route.

Alternative route: B4085 Blackminster (part), B4085 Cleeve Rd, B4510 Cleeve Rd to Three Cocks Ln, B4510 Evesham Rd, B4510 Offenham Rd, B4035 Badsey Rd, A46 Evesham Bypass, B4035 Badsey Rd, B4085 Birmingham Rd, B4085 Blackminster (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (23:45-09:00).

Commencing: 30 August 2025.

(U44400 Abbey Lane, Evesham) (Temporary Closure)

Proposed Order: To close that part of U44400 Abbey Ln from its junction with U44401 Abbey Ln to its junction with U44421 Abbey Ln.

Reason: Development works by Taylor Wimpey Development.

No access for emergency services, must follow diversion route.

Alternative route: U44401 Abbey Ln, A4184 Abbey Rd, U44421 Abbey Ln and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 546 days (24hrs).

Commencing: 1 September 2025.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

(District of Wychavon – Evesham Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2025 [Prohibition of Waiting on Briar Close]

Notice is hereby given that Worcestershire County Council made an Order on 24 July 2025 under Sections 1, 2, 4, and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Evesham:

• Briar Close (West side): from a point 9 metres south of its junction with Briar Close Road for a distance of 4 metres in a southerly direction.

This Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which may be examined at the offices of the Council) by means of the insertion of the above-mentioned prohibition and of contraventions of waiting restrictions being enforceable by Civil Enforcement Officers by the issue of Penalty Charge Notices.
