NOTICE OF MAKING OF PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 AND WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL PARISH OF RAMSBURY PATH Nos. 5, 6 AND 8C AND PARISH OF LITTLE BEDWYN PATH NO.20 DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2025
The above named Order, made on 25th July 2025, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public rights of way over the land situate at Park Farm, Ramsbury, SN8 2HW. That entire width and length of that public right of way (bridleway), leading from OS Grid Reference SU 25971 69301, in a north westerly direction for approximately 625 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 25556 69768 then north easterly for approximately 260 metres to SU 25694 69991, known as bridleway Ramsbury path no.6, will be diverted to a new route leading from OS Grid Reference SU 25971 69301, in a broadly north easterly, then north westerly direction for a total of approximately 704 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 25734 70066, having a width of 4 metres. Three sets of lockable vehicle restricting bollards will be installed on this route at SU 25984 69326, SU 26078 69882 and SU 25748 70064 with a minimum 1.5 metre spacing between the bollards. The new route will be recorded as a bridleway. Also, the entire width and length of that public right of way (footpath) leading, from OS Grid Reference SU 25556 69768, in a broadly north westerly direction for approximately 210 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 25373 69870, known as footpath Ramsbury path no. 8C, will be diverted to a route leading from OS Grid Reference SU 25373 69870 in a broadly north easterly direction for approximately 340 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 25694 69991, having a width of 2 metres. Two new kissing gates will be installed on this route to BS standard BS5709 at SU 25694 69991 and SU 25466 69906. The new route will be recorded as a footpath. Also, the entire width and length of that public right of way (footpath) leading from just south of the parish boundary between Little Bedwyn and Ramsbury at OS Grid Reference SU 24823 68283, in a broadly westerly direction for approximately 210 metres to OS Grid reference SU 24628 68237 then turning in a broadly north easterly direction for approximately 180 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 24688 68492, known as footpaths Little Bedwyn no.20 and Ramsbury no.5, will be diverted to a new route leading from OS Grid Reference SU 24823 68283 in a broadly north westerly direction for approximately 250 metres to OS Grid Reference SU 24688 68492, having a width of 2 metres. This new route will be subject to a kissing gate to BS standard BS5709 at SU 24787 68342. The new route will be recorded as a footpath. Copies of the Order and Order Schedule and Order Map may be seen at the Marlborough and Ramsbury Rural District Council offices and online at www.wiltshire.gov.uk, or may be obtained free of charge at the address below.
Any representation or objection relating to the order must be sent in writing to Craig Harlow, Definitive Map and Highway Records, Wiltshire Council, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, BA14 8JN or by email to craig.harlow@wiltshire.gov.uk quoting the title of the Order “The Wiltshire Council parish of Ramsbury Path Nos. 5,6 and 8C and parish of Little Bedwyn Path No.20 diversion and definitive map and statement modification order 2025”, not later than 17:00 on 5th September 2025 and respondents are requested to state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Wiltshire Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order. NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

THE DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT FOR THE PEWSEY RURAL DISTRICT COUNCIL AREA DATED 1952 AS MODIFIED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
THE WILTSHIRE COUNCIL PARISH OF WILCOT AND HUSH WITH OARE PATH NO. 32A DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2025
The above order, made on 29th July 2025, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding a public footpath in the parish of Wilcot and Huish with Oare leading from its eastern junction with footpath WILC32 and WILC34 at OS grid reference SU 13852 60522 leading broadly west along the existing track for approximately 446 metres to its junction with bridleway WILC33 at SU 13935 60506 at Cocklebury Farm. The path will have a recorded width of 4 metres, centred on the middle point of the track. The recorded width limited to 1.4 metres around the north east point of the bend in situ at SU 13321 60553, between the gate post and the post and rail fence. If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Wiltshire Council, instead of submitting the order to the Secretary of State (or part of it if the authority has by notice to the Secretary of State so elected under paragraph 5 of Schedule 15 to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981) may itself confirm the order (or that part of the order). If the order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, in whole or in part, any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
