Temporary Closure of Marley Close and Meadow Terrace
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Marley Close - from the junction with Meadow Close, for its entirety; and Meadow Terrace - from 28 metres north-east of the junction with Hopcott Road, north-eastwards for a distance of 29 metres. A total distance of 83 metres. This Order will enable Kier to carry out footway reconstruction works on behalf of Somerset Highways.
The Order becomes effective on 15th August 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 18th August 2025 and last until 29th August 2025 between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 for a total of 12 days.
